SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI
Say ingin mengambil kesempatan ini untuk mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri kepada semua kenalan saya yang dekat dan yang berada di jauh sana.
WALAU LANGKAH TAK BERTEMU,
TANGAN TAK BERJABAT,
UCAP TAK TERDENGAR,
MATA TAK BERTATAP,
TAPI IZINKAN HATI MEMOHON MAAF ZAHIR & BATIN
Forgiveness doesn't change the past, but, it certainly brightens the future.
SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI

FREE HEALTH SCREENING FOR RESIDENTS OF HULU SELANGOR
18 months Free Health Screening through Partnership with National Kidney Foundation
As the Member of Parliament for Hulu Selangor, I presented a cheque for RM15,000 on the 23rd August 2011 to partner the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF) that will offer free health screening to the residents of Hulu Selangor for the next 18 months. This project will commence on 4 September 2011 and will cover 48 locations in Hulu Selangor.
During my daily visits and activities in the constituency, I have come across many cases of the residents who were critically ill due to their lack of awareness to early detection and cure for many of the illness they are suffering from.
The Barisan Nasional government has built many hospitals and clinics in the states, districts and the villages, but the people only go there when they are seriously ill. This initiative from my part and in partnership with NKF is an effort to address this issue by bringing the health screening facilities right to their door steps.
I am also currently in talks with other health-care providers to offer free eye and dental screening for the residents of Hulu Selangor. These are basic health screenings that will go a long way in helping the residents prevent major illness or losing the use of their vital senses.
To attract more people to come for this free health screening clinics, a carnival like atmosphere will be created at 48 locations in Hulu Selangor. In addition to the health screening being conducted at the chosen venues, we will also set-up voter registration counters and financial support counters for the poor in collaboration with SPR and Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat respectively.
These awareness and early prevention initiative is primarily for the residents of Hulu Selangor but is open to anybody who wish to enjoy this privilege. I am confident that more than 20,000 people in Hulu Selangor will benefit from this service.
Details of the locations, date and time of this free health screening activity will be put up at my service centres in Bukit Beruntung, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Kalumpang & Rasa. I will also seek the support and assistance of the community leaders in Hulu Selangor to disseminate and encourage more people to attend this free health screening clinics.
