WHY ARE THEY JUMPING SHIP?

The recent wave of Pakatan rakyat Member of Parliament’s abandoning ship have caused the opposition coalition to experience a ‘tsunami’ of their own although a smaller one then what the Barisan Nasional experienced in 2008. There have been many accusations and counter accusations that it is the Barisan Nasional who is responsible for such actions. I can’t help but consider that the federal government after the results of the last general election and new energetic leadership have become more sensitive and people orientated when it comes to hearing the voice of the people, Barisan Nasional the coalition are listening and responding, Barisan Nasional has changed, Barisan Nasional is changing, Barisan Nasional will continue to change to become better leaders because that is the message from the very top of the country’s leadership and his vision for creating a better tomorrow.

It can’t be denied that the losses suffered two years ago were coming to Barisan Nasional. One major reason this happen was Barisan Nasional thought everything is satisfactory and denied the fact that the people were becoming disappointed, the wakeup call worked and the denial syndrome that drowned out reason was rectified.

Ironically barely 2 years into their administration it seems that the Pakatan Rakyat has been severely infected by their own denial syndrome. It seems everyone that leaves Pakatan Rakyat is a bad apple and everyone that leaves the Barisan Nasional are doyens of truth and justice. There is no legitimate rhyme or reason they left, none of reasons or dissatisfactions expressed by the leaders who left have any merit. Hence according to the Pakatan Rakyat it’s the Barisan Nasional government who are solely responsible for such actions. However there are certain contradictions in this argument.

For one all those who left have stated categorically the reasons and most of their reasons seem to be lack of faith in the leaders and also a loss of direction and mission of the party they left. Are all those who left bereft of scrupulous, morals and principles? Tough to comprehend because it seems anyone who disagrees with the Pakatan Rakyat situation and leadership stance and wants change is bad, maybe the Pakatan Rakyat’s idea of change is only when it benefits them.

Funnily when Dato’ Zaid Ibrahim left the government to join the Pakatan Rakyat they didn’t seem to have problems accepting him. The venerable lawyer has also gone on record as saying the Prime Minister is behind these defections because he is “crazy” to reach the 2/3 majority in the Dewan Rakyat.

First of all the majority of parliamentarians who left the Pakatan Rakyat have not said they are joining any party in the Barisan Nasional coalition. In fact many of them haven’t even stated they will be Barisan Nasional friendly.

Choosing to leave Pakatan Rakyat doesn’t automatically mean they chose Barisan Nasional, it could just mean they have lost faith in the Pakatan Rakyat and its struggles. He seems to have conveniently forgotten that his own paramount leader had expressed publicly his intention and goal of overtaking the federal government in the 16th of September fiasco.

And is this not power craziness at its peak and hypocrisy at its worst?

The state of denial by the top echelon of the Pakatan Rakyat leadership in regards to the direction, policy and performance of the opposition coalition is reaching an alarming rate and not surprisingly the number of defections and is bound to get worse because of their attitude that everyone is wrong except those who conform and accept their practices no matter how dubious and fragmented from their original mission. The slumber of denial for those in power can be very intoxicating; however the citizens are awake and watching. They have given the Pakatan Rakyat 1Chance, but personally 1Malaysia seems impossible for a coalition that can’t even keep its own party Member of Parliament’s from leaving in disgust and contempt.

Jumping ship shows immaturity as those who committed that 'sin' were not committed to being a real politician.....they betrayed and hve no respect to their voters...in short they are shameless political opportunists. They wanted a seat badly and it did not matter which party accepted them. It has nothing to do with the leaderships or the party...they just need to blame others for their inadequacies...they are all the same, from the same mould with the same attributes and better known in Malaysian politics as 'the frogs'.

There are rumours you may be selected as the candidate for the HS by election. Best of luck if you get the nod, hopefully we can all help to send a blogger to the Parliament.

Is so sad that MIC is trying to make itself Relavent like MCA in an era of their gross incompetent and corruption....At least MCA sex scandal hero Chua can be chief....whereas Vijindran must be old now and crawling across Malaysia to resurrect his Political career. I still marvel at the stupidity of MIC still sticking to Samy the Villian of corruption for hope. His millions and billions are running thin...wonder how much more LOYALTY and Love he can still buy??

Dear (YB2B),
It seems my assessment was spot on.

I hope you will be able to fight a good fight and in doing so project an image that will represent all Malaysians and be of credit to both the MIC, the BN and Malaysians as a whole.

That coupled with the great work done by the BN Youth Wing should ensure great success for BN in this election.

well, just got off Malaysia Kini on the strong possibility of you being selected to to stand in HS so decided to log to your blog.....impresed with your opinions, writings n also your feelings. Sincerely hope that this are indeed your true and genuine feelings. Up to now have found MIC totally outdated and irelevant not so much towards the party but the leadership. You certainly look to be a breath of fresh air. Will continue to visit and post comments or cricitism and even accolates. Last hope is that you will remain the same person if selected and win the by-election.
God bless

Don't do much politicing. The most important thing to do. The most important to do is to narrow down the income between the rich and the poor among the Indians i.e. the Ginni Coefficient.

At the same time to educate the young Indians about the constitution and how it is formulated so that they don't hate other races- ONE MALAYSIA

Three quick questions:

1. Are you Indian first or Malaysian first?

2. Is your ancestors beggars and thieves?

3. Are you grateful to UMNO for giving you the opportunity to stand for election?

DEAR KAMALANATHAN,

I HAVE FEW QUESTIONS:

1. WHAT MIC HAS DONE FOR 50 YEARS THAN IT CAN DO IN A YEAR?

2. IS MIC IN A LEADERSHIP CRISIS AS IT CAN'T FIND A SUITABLE LEADER TO REPLACE SEMI-VALUE

3. HOW LONG IS MIC GOING TO BE A KICK-BACK PARTY OF BN?

4. HOW SUCCESSFUL ARE YOU BEFORE ENTERING POLITICS?

5. WHY DO YOU THINK THERE ARE A LOT OF CORRUPTED LEADERS IN MALAYSIA SUCH AS SEMI VALUE?

6. IS MIC A FAMILY BUSINESS?

YOU SHOULD LOSE THE ELECTION FOR PLAYING FOUL ON PALANIVEL.

AS A HULU SELANGOR RESIDENT, I THINK MIC HAS NO DIGNITY AT ALL AND HOW DO WE EXPECT YOU TO PERFORM? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SO FAR TO BE PROUD OF? RASCALS..

Mr Kamal sir,
This is a free country. Even in marriages there are divorces and so on.But in this case we know they are not happy with the leadership and the priciples of the party and their earlier manifestos have deviated and more so they can see that PR struggles based on Anwar capturing Putrajaya not for yhe people, So you guys in PR not happy by all means JUMP THE SHIP before it sunkens

These are rats that jumped ship because the pirates in the other ship need them as friends since no human want to be friends with the pirates who rob, steal, lie, cheat, and rape.
Is that too difficult for you to see?

Were there any rumours on your selection as the candidate for HS. Who was talking about it, and who spread the rumours anyway. All this while they were talking about Palani and Mugilan, your name was first time mentioned at the eleventh hour before Penamaan calun. What a drama, keep it up.

Boss,if you menang or kalah in this election, you please look into the cukai pintu rate imposed by MDHS..is very excessive, unreasonable... what i can describe is "unjustified claim". Cukai kutip, perkhidmatan and kemudahan asas tidak memuaskan. Liaising with MDHS is just talking with an old cupboard. No sense at all.

I trust your capability.

Good Luck and All The Best.

You have not answered any questions; just talk. You have lied many times now. The public will know just how hollow you are. Don't you think your wife is not ashamed by your lack of moral fibre and your LIES! Wake up, stand for any of your principles (if you have any that is) and get a life. Show the Malaysian people that you do have integrity. Right now you are a bum sucker!

Mr. Kamal,

You are young, energetic and sincere. You have a very faithful supporter ie your beautiful wife who follows you everywhere during the course of your election campaign. Just like TDM and TDSA

By the will of Allah you will win this election because you have the support of the majority of the electorates in the Parlimentary seat of Hulu Selangor.
