MY APPOINTMENT TO THE PARLIAMENT SELECT COMMITTEE ON ELECTORAL REFORMS

 
I am very grateful to be chosen as one of the representatives of the Barisan Nasional in the Parliament Select Committee to look into electoral reforms in Malaysia.  I would like to thank the YAB Datuk Sri Najib Razak, Prime Minister, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister and YB Senator Dato' G Palanivel, President of MIC for having faith in me and I am committed to ensure that the voice of the people for a free and fair election is upheld by this committee.
 
I am also pleased to work with the opposition pact for a common good to put forth recommendations for electoral reforms and improvements in our election process.
 
This is a clear indication that our Honourable Prime Minister and the Barisan Nasional government is receptive to the feedback from the rakyat and is committed to accept and improve areas of concern for a better Malaysia for all.
